The CNEP-Banque is a public bank which is bound by the same laws as commercial companies. The main missions of the bank are as follows:
To receive and manage deposits, for any length of time, term or type of deposit; To issue loans on a short, medium or long-term basis, in any form; To take out any loan; To be involved in loans and any sub-loans; To approve loans for the purpose of financing housing; To issue all acceptances, warnings, approvals and guarantees of any kind; To carry out any securities transaction according to the legal and regulatory conditions; And more generally, all financial, commercial, industrial, moveable or immoveable transactions being linked directly or indirectly to its objective or which are likely to facilitate its development or rehabilitation. The CNEP-Banque operates exclusively in Algeria.
