Botswana Savings Bank is an autonomous financial institution established by an act of parliament in 1992. The bank is required to carry out its business according to sound commercial principles and in accordance with the Banking Act of 1995.
The bank’s aim is to cultivate a strong saving habit among Botswana and to promote the culture of self-development; to improve the standard of living of Botswana in a way that other foreign owned banks are not willing or able to.
